Roger William Woodyard Jr., 75, of Connelly Springs passed away Friday, March 17, 2023 following a period of declining health.
Roger was born June 23, 1947 in York County Pennsylvania to Gloria M Sease Hatcher and the late Roger William Woodyard Sr.. He loved coaching little league basketball in Pennsylvania; and visiting with his family and being with his grandchildren.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by two grandchildren, Mia Woodyard and BrKayla Woodyard.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Carrie Moye Woodyard; son, Brian Woodyard and wife Kaylan; daughters, Rosalyn Woodyard (Tyrone Miller) and Tui Day; grandchildren, Malique Woodyard and fiancée Ashley Booth, Brian “BJ” Woodyard Spangler and husband Colton, Elijah Woodyard, Jaevon Woodyard, Amber Moore, Monies Day, and Brock Artavia; and great granddaughter, Cameryn Naley. Also surviving is a sister Autumn Bailey Ford and husband Rashad; and brothers, Randy Enersol and Ray Woodyard Sr.; and numerous loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
A funeral service will be held later in Pennsylvania.
