Mr. Robert Carroll Bogle, 74, of Granite Falls passed away Monday, April 7, 2025 at his home, following a period of declining health.
Robert was born July 25, 1950 in Mecklenburg County to the late Jack Turnmyre Bogle and Rachel Minelle Hogan Bogle. He was a retired veteran of the United States Airforce where he held the rank of Senior Master Sergeant.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Bogle; and brother-in-law, Rex Teague.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughter, Cheryl Bogle and Janet Stallings of Hickory; step-son, John Blackstock and family of New Jersey; brothers, Jack Bogle and wife Denise of Fredericksburg, VA, Jim Bogle and wife Martha of Wilson’s Mills, NC; sister, Gwen Teague of Granite Falls, NC; ex-wife and best friend, Brenda Bogle of Granite Falls; step sister, Gail Hall and husband Don of Lenoir; and step brother, Darrell Childers and wife Debbie of Myrtle Beach, SC. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Services will be scheduled at a later date and announced by Mackie Funeral Service.
