Kenneth Warren Bumgarner, 72, of Hildebran, passed away on Wednesday April 17, 2024 at Frye Regional Medical Center following a brief illness.
Mr. Bumgarner was born on February 14, 1952, in Dayton Ohio, and was a United States Navy Veteran. He was self-employed owner and operator of Bumgarner Landscaping and was a member of Dudley Shoals Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Smith Cook; his father, Walter Carr Bumgarner; and his brother, Tommy Bumgarner; and his wife, Donna Bumgarner, of 47 years that passed away on the same date.
Survivors include his children, Aaron Bumgarner and wife Heather of Richmond, VA and Abby Bumgarner of Paradis, LA; his sister, Branda Hallman and husband Richard of Taylorsville; and his grandchildren, Charlotte Bumgarner, Wyatt Michaud and Hunter Michaud.
A Graveside Service will be held at Dudley Shoals Baptist Church Cemetery on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at 2:00 pm.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Mackie Funeral Service in Granite Falls.

Haven’t been in contact with Kenny for years but during High School years, Beach Trips, and all of our other Adventures we were Great Friends. Ill never forget when he Spelled his name “KEENNY” for all of Granite Falls to see. Good Friend!!
