Dennis Boyd Farr, 88, of Hudson passed away peacefully on Friday, September 16, 2022, at Amorem of Hudson, following a period of declining health.
Dennis was born on November 22, 1933, in Caldwell County to the late Robert Farr and Henrietta Miller Farr.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Bessie Smith Farr, and nine brothers and sisters.
Survived by daughters, Beryl Farr Westby and husband, Steven Westby, and Denise Farr Annas and husband, Scott Annas, four grandchildren, Dustin Gentry, Abigail Annas, Andrew Annas and Avery Annas, four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and special niece, Brenda Roper.
Mr. Farr was a member of Friendship Baptist Church, loved to garden and cook, and spent his retirement years as a disaster relief volunteer.

Beryl I have mixed emotions. I know you are tired and need much rest. Love you and praying for you. Love you and Steve much. Will be out of town next week but will contact you when I get home. Dennis and I had a lot of good times with your dad and mom. I remember several things when we would be on a mission trip and pull jokes on your dad.
