Mrs. Billie Kirby Bumgarner, 92, of Granite Falls passed away on Saturday, February 10, 2024.
Billie was born February 13, 1931, to the late William Kirby and Kittie Poarch Kirby.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie Bumgarner; granddaughter, Miranda Bumgarner; two sisters, Lola Mae Pennell and Mary Ellen Cline; and two brothers, William Hugh Kirby and Lester Carroll Kirby.
She is survived by a daughter, Trenda Allen (David) of Granite Falls; two sons, Timothy Bumgarner (Margaret) of Taylorsville and Tracy Bumgarner (Wendy) of Granite Falls; grandchildren, Wesley Allen (Brittany), Tyler Allen (Christie), Adrienne Bumgarner (Mike Koloditch), Lindsey Bumgarner, Jacob Bumgarner, Sabrina Lynch (Addison); 9 great grandchildren; sisters-in-law Glenda McLaughlin and Rachel Moore; and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, February 18, 2024, at Ebenezer Methodist Church in Granite Falls with the Rev. Mike Costner officiating.

I am so sorry to hear this world has lost such a sweet soul as Billie. She was loved by so many and she raised so many children who loved her immensely. She was so beautiful inside and out. I doubt I’ll ever meet another person I admire as much as I did her. My sincere prayers for her remaining family. I’m very sad to hear this today.
