Mr. Willi Martin Berg, 81, of Granite Falls passed away peacefully in his sleep on Sunday, October 23, 2022 at his home.
Willi was born December 18, 1940 in Binghamton, NY to the late Martin Berg and Maria Kettner Berg. He enjoyed woodworking, history, reading, and yardwork. He loved his family, including his dog Sadie, who was by his side when passed. He truly enjoyed a good life.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Joanne Elaine Berg of the home; children, Jeffrey Martin Berg of Hickory, and Michelle Renee King of Hickory; grandchildren, Hannah, Loren, Wyatt, Autumn, and Hannah M.; siblings, Christa Portaro and husband Sal, and Edward Berg; several nieces and nephews; and brother-in-law Dennis Byrum.
