Mr. Terry Lee Childers, 68, of Lenoir passed away Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Caldwell UNC Health following a period of declining health.

Terry was born July 28, 1955 in Burke County to the late Horace Childers, Jr. and Gladys “Pauline” Childers.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Childers.

Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Joyce B. Childers; daughter, Carrie Helton and husband Bobby; stepchildren, Jennifer Childers and husband Timothy, and David Webb; step grandchildren, Amber Simmons, Chelsea Simmons, Trevor Simmons, and Cristen Webb; step great grandchildren, William Marshall, Sophia Marshall, and Marley Hurst; siblings, Timothy Childers and wife Jennifer, and Robin Hollis. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
