Taylor was one of my students while I served as Hibriten High School’s principal. She was one of my favorites. Taylor’s ability to overcome several obstacles to earn her high school diploma was a remarkable accomplishment that she cherished. All of us were so proud of her. She persevered. She believed in herself. She never gave up. And she graduated. The Taylor I will always remember was a student who was determined, confident, compassionate, and funny. She loved life. I am heartbroken and wish to send my sincerest condolences to Taylor’s family, her friends, and her extended Hibriten family. We will never forget Taylor. May God be with her.
