Tammy Anderson Mecimore, 62, of Taylorsville, passed away unexpectedly Thursday May 8, 2025, at her residence.

She was born on March 17, 1963, in Wilkes County to Linda Johnson Goins and the late Ronnie Anderson. She was employed with Hancock & Moore Furniture and was a former member of Hiddenite Baptist Church. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Mecimore.

Survivors include her son, Jed Stanley (Michelle Tomlin) of Statesville; her daughter, Jenny Buchanan (Jason) of Taylorsville; her brothers, Ron Anderson (Cindy) of Hiddenite and Larry Anderson (Susan) of Stafford, VA; her grandchildren, Brooklyn Stanley, Corbin Tomlin, Abby Buchanan, Anna Buchanan, Emily Mecimore, Kaitlyn Mecimore, Lindsey Mecimore; one great-grandchild, Charlotte Mecimore; her nephews, Dustin Anderson, Casey Anderson (Morgan), Bradley Anderson (Brianna), Gunnar Anderson (Gracie); and her nieces, Kiersten Anderson and Lindsey Anderson.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Saturday May 17, 2025 in the Chapel of Mackie Funeral Service in Granite Falls, with Rev. Bradley Anderson officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Hills Cemetery in Granite Falls.

The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at Mackie Funeral Service in Granite Falls.
