Steve Roland Hollis, 74, of Granite Falls, passed away peacefully on Friday March 7, 2025, at Frye Regional Medical Center in Hickory following a brief illness.
Steve was born on January 2, 1951, in Floyd County, Georgia to the late Benjamin Fare Hollis and Effie Mae McCollum Hollis. He was employed during his lifetime in the textile and furniture industry. He was a former member and pastor at Servants of Christ Ministries.
Survivors include his sister-in-law, Charlene Hollis of Conover, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 1:00 P.M. Monday March 10, 2025, in the Chapel of Mackie Funeral Service in Granite Falls. Officiating will be Rev. Edd Warren.
The family will receive friends on Monday from 12:00 P.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Mackie Funeral Service in Granite Falls.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 6704, Hagerstown, MD 21741.

Steve was a character. I always loved being around him. He was funny and always saying hilarious things. Once he came in and sat down beside me and said ” keep your hands to yourself !” I was like ok I’ll try haha. He was a mess. Never a dull moment.
