Steven Ray Revill, of Connelly Springs, NC went to be with the Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, March 26, 2025, at the age of 70. Born July 21, 1954, in Lexington, NC, Steve grew up in Washington and traversed the United States multiple times throughout his life. He will be laid to rest in a private home burial, with a public Memorial Service to be announced.

Steve is survived by his wife of 43 years, Christine Bennett Revill; daughters Tomi Deanna Ramirez, Teila Bennett Ledford (husband Calvin W. Ledford), and Janae R. Revill; son William “Billy” Coy Revill; seven grandchildren, one great-grandson, and a second great-grandchild on the way. He was preceded in death by his parents, Coy Revill and Louise Byrd Revill; sister Catherine Elaine Craig; and daughter Debra T. Revill.

He served his country with honor as an active-duty Marine during the later years of the Vietnam War. As a Rifle Marksmanship Instructor at the Marine Corps Recruit Training Depot (MCRD) at Camp Pendleton, CA, Steve trained new Marines, teaching them the basics of marksmanship to prepare them for service. A recipient of the USMC Rifle Expert Badge, he was notable for his own skill in marksmanship. Steve was honorably discharged in 1976 at Camp Pendleton, CA, having earned the National Defense Service Medal and the Good Conduct Medal for his service and professionalism.

While Steve held a variety of careers throughout his life, he enjoyed his roles in computer technology the most. Beginning with Amiga computers, Steve always sought to learn new skills in technology and, in so doing, gained the knowledge and skill necessary to, for a time, run his own business. Steve was successful in his career and became a self-taught Information Technology (IT) Systems Administrator for Verizon. Repairing and restoring electronics while listening to music from various eras was a favorite pastime in his pre-retirement years. Post-retirement, Steve enjoyed spending time with his family and caring for the home the Lord had blessed him with.

Steve was a loving husband, father, and adoring grandfather. He loved the Lord and sought to honor Him by serving others and treating them as Christ calls – with no partiality. His final words to his son-in-law were words of wisdom for all: “Trust in the Lord.” We are thankful for the confidence we have in Christ Jesus that Steve is now in heaven worshipping the Lord he loved so much here on earth.
