Stanley Alan Hodge passed peacefully on April 3, 2024 at Atrium Health Baptist Hospital In Winston-Salem, NC. Stanley was born on March 20, 1962 in Lenoir, NC to Mildred and Dick Hodge.
Stanley enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, especially teaching his grandchildren new things. He had a kind and generous spirit, always willing to lend a helping hand to those in need. His love for his animals, playing horseshoes, and watching Nascar races on Sunday brought joy to his life and those around him.
Stanley is proceeded in death by his brother, Rick Hodge; uncle Jim Hodge; uncle Bill Hodge and uncle Tim Hodge.
Stanley is survived by his fiancé and caretaker, Nancy Eastridge, four sons Cheston (Becky) Hodge, Brent (Stacey) Hodge, Brandon Hodge, Randy (Donna) Fillers, daughters Diana Elkins, Ashley Bauguess, Sarah Fillers, four sisters, Donna Whittington, Lisa (Freddie) Campbell, Angie (Lyle) Ford, Jenny Hodge, Crystal Thomas, fourteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Stanley will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Wonderful brother and friend to all. Stanley will surely be missed by many. He was one of the hardest working people I have ever known. He was always willing to help anyone in need even as his health declined, he still wanted to help in some way. We love you brother and will think of you often and fondly. Until we meet again….
