Sandra Dionne Smart, 50, of Granite Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday March 4, 2025.

Sandra was born on April 6, 1974, in Catawba County to the late Melvin Bishop Smart and Piper Shae Eckard. She was formerly self-employed in the service industry, helping those less fortunate and in need.

Survivors include her sisters, Shannon Bryant of Hildebran, Meloney Smith of Hickory,  Amy Smart, Brandy Smart, Jennifer Smart, and Tammy Ward, all of Granite Falls. Also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held at a later date by the family.
