Roger Dale Raby, 70, of Hickory passed away April 29, 2023 at Frye Regional Medical Center following a period of declining health.
Roger was born March 1, 1953 in Caldwell County to the late George Marshall Raby and Pauline Woods Raby. He will be remembered as a true fan of the Carolina Tarheels and enjoyed all UNC sports.
Survivors include his daughter, Shawna Raby of Rhodhiss; brother, James Raby and wife Lori of Mountain View; nephew Scott Raby of Charlotte; niece Jennifer Wagner of Winston Salem; and aunt, Irene Duncan of Hudson.
