It is with great sadness that the family of Roger Allen Jones of Granite Falls announce his passing on November 29, 2024 at his home, at 61 years of age.
Mr. Jones was born September 25, 1963 in McDowell County to the late James “Jim” Leonard Jones and Wilma Buchanan Jones.
Roger will be remembered for his witty sense of humor, his work ethic, his love of adventure, and his fierce loyalty to his family, especially his mother.
His love and life will forever be cherished by his fiancé, Geri Johnson of Granite Falls, NC; children, Jennifer Jones Freise (Jonathan) of Greeneville, TN, James Allen Jones of Hickory, NC, Roy Logan Jones of Granite Falls, NC; grandchildren, Elizabeth Nicole Huffman, Emilie Nevaeh Huffman, Natalie Jean Freise, Malachi Blake Freise and Micah Allen Freise; numerous cousins and friends.
Visitation will be at held Saturday December 7, 2024 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Mackie Funeral Service.
The family will have a private interment.
