Mr. Phillip Cauthren, 86, of Hudson passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025 at UNC Health Blue Ridge in Morganton following a period of declining health.
Phillip was born January 21, 1939 in Wilkes County to the late Luther Guy Cauthren and Frances Queen Morton.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Guy Cauthren, Roger Cauthren, and Evelyn Cummings.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Karen Cauthren of the home; son, Ralph Graham and wife Colleen of Mooresville; step children, Adrianne Brookshire and husband Jeremy of Lenoir, Amanda Gurley and husband Matt of Lenoir, and Matthew Coffey and wife Roxy of Lenoir; grandchild, Addison Graham; and step grandchildren, Joshua Brookshire, Lyndsey Brookshire, Jacob Gurley, Kensie Coffey, and Dean Coffey; siblings, Joan Gough, Ava Bishop, and Vicki Lefebvre; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM at Mackie Funeral Service in Granite Falls.
