Mikeal Voight Knight, 73, of Lenoir, passed away Friday June 6, 2025 at Catawba Valley Medical Center in Hickory following a brief illness.

Mikeal was born on February 22, 1952 in Caldwell County, to the late Voight Knight and Opal Bolick Knight. He was a United States Army Veteran, and was a pressman for over 40 years with the Lenoir News Topic. After retirement, he worked at Sam’s Club in Hickory for 26 years.

Survivors include his wife, DeAnna Edmisten Knight of the home; his two sons, Christian Knight (Patti) of Boone and Tyler Knight (Emily) of Drexel; his brother, Duane Knight (Sharon) of Granite Falls; his sister, Penny Kendall of Fayetteville; two grandchildren, Ezra Knight and Emmett Knight; also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews, and two beloved dachshunds, Sammy and Tucker.

A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday June 9, 2025 at Waterlife Church, 1007 Morganton Blvd. Lenoir, NC 28645.

The family will receive friends on Monday from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. at Waterlife Church in Lenoir.
