Mr. Michael James Poole, 71, passed away on April 7, 2024, at Valdese Hospital.

Michael was born on April 15, 1951, to the late Ernest James Poole and Betty Kootz Poole in Mecklenburg County in North Carolina. He was a graphic artist and worked for West End Printing.

He is proceeded in death by a son, Steven Poole, and his parents, Ernest James Poole and Betty Kootz Poole.

Left to cherish his memory is a brother, Daniel Poole of Granite Falls; significate other, Sharon Edwards of Sandston, Virginia; and a close friend, Wayne Ellis of Newcant, Virginia.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
