Mr. Michael Anthony Cornett, 57, of Lenoir passed away January 13, 2024 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital.
Michael was born February 11, 1966 in Burke County to Mrs. Katherine Helton Holcombe and the late Jack Wilbern Cornett. Michael was a Golden Glove, known for his boxing skills. He worked as a professional mobile home mover and an OTR truck driver. He enjoyed fishing and loved his dog, Precious.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, Marty Cornett; sister, Beverly Fay Cornett Jones; and brother, Gregory Lee Cornett.
Survivors include his mother, Katherine Holcombe; step mother, Shirley Hull Cornett; brothers, Allen Cornett and Michael Harrison; and sisters, Mechele Smith, Kimberly Ann Robbins, and Teresa Herold.
