Melton Gaither Folger Teague, 80, of Granite Falls, departed this life to his heavenly home on Sunday December 10, 2023, at his residence.
Folger was born on January 21, 1943, in Caldwell County to the late Dace Folger Teague and Carrie Odell Starnes Teague. He retired after many years at Duke Power and also from the Grace Chapel Fire Department. He was a member of Grace Chapel Global Methodist Church.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by a sister, Glinda Haas.
Surviving is his wife of 63 years, Donna Dula Teague; his son, David M. Teague of Granite Falls; his daughters, Audra Hoyle and husband Luke, Vanessa Rosa and husband Henry, and Tracy Manuel and husband Billy all of Granite Falls; three grandchildren, Lucas Hoyle, Faith Rosa and Josiah Rosa; and one sister, Hilda Deal of Conover.
Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Thursday December 14, 2023, at Grace Chapel Global Methodist Church, with Rev. Mitch Wilson and Rev. Phillip Hefner officiating. Interment will follow at Grace Chapel Global Methodist Church Cemetery with pallbearers provided by the Grace Chapel Fire Department.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 2:00-4:00 P.M. at Grace Chapel Global Methodist Church.
Flowers are accepted and appreciated, or memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Colony of Mercy, 1675 Bethel Colony Rd. Lenoir, NC 28645.

Donna, I am so sorry to hear this. I lost Ronnie last year at Christmas. I will be in prayer for you and the families ππΌππΌππΌππΌ. Just trust in the Lord and He will get you thru it. God bless you all and be with all of you.
Folger was a good person! We were best friends at Grace Chapel School. Folger, RonnieClark and myself we the three Musketeers. Rest in Peace.
