Mary Caudle Sigmon, 82, of Hickory, passed away peacefully on Sunday September 11, 2022 at Amorem Hospice in Hudson following a period of declining health.
Mrs. Sigmon was born on May 13, 1940 in Surry County to the late Roy Caudle. She was a retired home health caregiver with Handicare. Mary was an active member of Fresh Oil Ministries.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond Auman.
Survivors include her husband, David C. Sigmon of Hickory; one son, Christopher Auman (Chelsy George) of Granite Falls; step-children, Benny Auman (Beth) of Greensboro; Charles Trusty, Randall Trusty, Teresa Bryant and Sonya Miller, all of FL; grandchildren, Katelyn Auman, Madelyn Auman and Evelyn Auman; her brother-in-law, Bobby Auman (Nellie); and a nephew, Robbie Auman; also surviving are two step-grandchildren, Brooke Culbertson (Justin) and Lexi Hunt (Zeke); and five step-great grandchildren
A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Saturday September 17, 2022 in the Chapel of Mackie Funeral Service in Granite Falls. Officiating will be Dr. Tammy Petry and Dr. David Petry. Inurnment will be private at Elkin Valley Baptist Church Cemetery in Elkin, N.C.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 1:00-2:00 P.M. at Mackie Funeral Service in Granite Falls.
