She knew how to be a friend, always wanting to cook and have people over. Lauri, Thanks for being my friend and rest in peace.
Aunt Lauri, I call you this since I knew you when I was so young growing up and being so close to your neice. You were always the cool Aunt. You were such a beautiful person inside and out. You were funny as hell, really chill and hyper sometimes but you always made me laugh or smile. You are gone to early but will never be forgotten. I will keep looking out for your beautiful daughter Kendra as best as I can. I feel as if she is my cousin and I know you are so proud of her and you will be greatly missed♡ Until we meet again, Fly high butterfly 🦋

Heaven gain an another angel recently, and this is one girl I will never forget. I was probably about 10 years old when we met within a group of friends in “the neighborhood”. We were close for many years, and still kept in touch until a couple months before her passing. We were always at each other’s houses, and spent many evenings ice skating at Swinburne Park. Laurie was the kind of person to tell you like it is, and we shared many memories and laughs that I will cherish, from skating, hanging out at each other’s houses, many “woods” parties, pocket park, along with many other friends houses, and hanging out at “the corner”. ( which doesn’t sound like a good place when I say it like that, but the kids from the “neighborhood” would remember it as “our hangout”. I’m going to miss you my friend of over 40 years. Until we meet again my friend. 💕
