Loving wife and beloved aunt, Judy Bolick Freeman passed away on June 7, 2024, surrounded by family.
Judy was born on September 10, 1951, to the late Dexter Bolick and Rachel Munday Bolick. She was a long-term member of Center Grove Baptist Church in Hudson.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Johnny D. Bolick.
She is survived by her husband of 46 years, Melvin Freeman. She is also survived by her niece, Elisabeth Bolick-Spillman (Isaac) and great-nephew, Barrett Spillman, and great-niece, Caroline Spillman, all of Winston-Salem, NC. Additionally, she is survived by sister-in-law, Cathy S. Bolick of Granite Falls; brother-in-law, David Freeman(Barbara) of Spartanburg, SC; nephews, Josh Freeman of Granite Falls, Mark Freeman of Nashville Tennessee; sister-in-law, Martha Honeycutt (Gene) of Statesville; sister-in-law, Alice Parsons (Bobby) of Granite Falls; niece, Amanda Parsons of Granite Falls; niece, Anna Wilcox (Kevin) of Fletcher; nephew, Alex Parsons of Wake County; and great-nieces Makinley and Maisy Wilcox of Fletcher.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Sunset Hills Cemetery with Deacon Mickey Blankenship officiating.
Mrs. Freeman will lie in state on Monday, June 10,2024 from 12:00-5:00 pm at Mackie Funeral Service and Cremations.
