Harold Clinton “Clint” Hamby III, 48, of Lenoir passed away on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 at Amorem following a period of declining health.

Clint was born May 15, 1976 to Harold “Buddy” Hamby Jr. and Linda Kirby Turnmire. He loved to fish, play and watch basketball, and build with Legos. But most of all he loved his family and he will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Maura Hope Smith-Hamby; grandchildren, Annabelle, Olivia, and Dallas, sisters, Rena Turnmire, Brittany Bare, and Amanda Bryant and husband Jonathan; brother, William Hamby and wife Jennifer; numerous nieces and nephews; and best friend, Stacy Michael.

A celebration of life service will be held at a later date by the family.

Heritage Funeral Service and Crematory in Valdese is assisting the family.
