Gene Evan Anderson, 68, of Granite Falls, passed away on Thursday, July 4, 2024, at Amorem of Hudson following a period of declining health.
Gene was born on July 19, 1955, in Caldwell County, a son of the late Guy Kenneth Anderson and Wilma Bradshaw Anderson. He worked at Longview Yarns until retirement. Gene was of the Chrisitan Faith.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in passing by his wife, Clara Anderson; and sister, Shirley Hargett (Ray).
Those left to cherish his memory include siblings, Kenneth Anderson (Carolyn), Libby Houck (Curtis), and Mary Jo Hollar (Paul); son, Chris Hall (Whitney); stepchildren, Nancy Canter, Terry Hall, and Randy Hall (Patricia); and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, in the chapel of Mackie Funeral Service at 1:00 PM. Burial will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
A receiving of friends will be held one hour prior to the service at Mackie Funeral Service from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Tuesday, July 9, 2024.
