Faye Elizabeth Wilson Hill, 84, of Granite Falls passed away Thursday, October 13, 2022 at her home following a period of declining health.
Faye was born December 8, 1937 in Catawba County to the late Avery Calvin Wilson and Marie Davis Hill. She was a member of Icard Church of God and worked as a knitter at Longview Yarns.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul “Grady” Hill; daughter, Teresa Hill Sadak; siblings, Bonnie Vines, Mickey Brittian, A.C. Wilson, Evelyn Chapman, Gladys Davis, D.C. Wilson, Violet Watts, Russel Wilson, Gene Wilson, and Martha Rae Wilson.
Survivors include her son, Hal Abernathy and wife Lori of Granite Falls; daughter, Paula Miller of Lincolnton; granddaughter, Emily Miller; grandson, Sabastian Sadak; sister, Hazel “Ote” Hoyle; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank special family members, Connie Cline, Rita Watts, and Gertie Powell.
No services are scheduled at this time.
To hear this just breaks my heart deeply..After seeing her and Hal, she invited me to stop in to visit sometime and I had planned to . Please know the comfort you will feel comes from knowing others love and care..
