Elza Cisco, 77, of Granite Falls, passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at Amorem Hospice following a period of declining health.
Elza was born December 23, 1945 in West Virginia to the late Woodrow Cisco and Mina Mahon Cisco. He retired as a lineman and was a member of Church of Christ in Granite Falls. Elza was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved his family.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother, Marvin Cisco; sister, Mable Hatfield; and sister-in-law, Midred Cisco.
He is survived by his wife of fifty years, Joyce Bradshaw Cisco; children, Adam Cisco, Stephanie Cisco and fiancé Alvin, and Dan Cisco and wife Mary; grandchildren, Leslie Knapp and husband Marcus, Lisa Gibson and husband Nick, Morgan Elkins and wife Madison, and Hailey Cisco; and great-grandchildren, Cooper Gibson, Cambri Gibson, and Emma Knapp. Also surviving is his brother, Whitley Cisco; sister, Dimple Brinkley and husband Willis; special niece, Myna Cisco Rawles; special nephew, Woody Brinkley and wife Erin; special friends, Billy Harvey, Frank Johnson and wife Betty, and Scott Bumgarner and wife Laura; special cousin-in-laws, Jenny and Alex Price, and Sue and Joey Copeland; special son-in-law, Alvin Cisco; and special nurse Regina Smith.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Stephanie’s home (3806 Berry Creek Circle, Granite Falls, NC) from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
