Dianne Hood Church, 77, of Granite Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 29, 2023.

Dianne was born on March 6, 1946 in Caldwell County to the late Chuff Hood and Inez Lingle Hood. She was a devoted member of Central Baptist Church, always staying active in the church. Dianne enjoyed reading and being with her family. Every Saturday morning, everyone was guaranteed a phone call to check in.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas Larry Church, daughters, Sandra Satuno and husband Nick, and Beth Jones and husband Jere; sons, David Church and wife Tonya, and Mark Church; grandchildren, Travis Bentley, Josh Bentley, Magen Varnedore, Brittany Wiseman, Tiffany Hopkins, Keri Johnson, and Jessica Medlin and husband Keith; and great-grandchildren, Isabella Bentley, Aubrey Bentley, Lyla Bentley, ,Emma Bentley, Pressley Hayes, Everley Wiseman, Brynn Wiseman, Jackson Hopkins, Reid Hopkins, Parker Hopkins, Camden Medlin and Kemper Medlin.

A private memorial service will be held at a later date by the family.
