David Lee Duncan, Jr., 58 of Granite Falls passed away Saturday, December 17, 2022 following a period of declining health.

David was born on September 25, 1964 in Rowan County to Martha Smith Gray and the late David Lee Duncan, Sr. He worked as an electrician for the majority of his life and was a hard worker. David loved to cook, tending to his garden and listening to music and playing his guitar.

In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his wife, Janet Ann Duncan; a brother, Ronnie Duncan; stepfather, John Gray; and mother and father in-law, Diane and Charles Waldron.

Those left to cherish his memory are his mother, Martha Gray; nephews, Collin Duncan and Codey Duncan; niece, Cassey Duncan; brother, Terry Duncan; and numerous other family and friends.

A Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 12:00 PM in the Chapel of Mackie Funeral Service.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Mackie Funeral Service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Pet Partners Rescue of Caldwell County at P.O. Box 2746, Lenoir, NC 28645.
