Mr. Daniel Harris Thomas, 65, of Lenoir passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at his home.
Daniel was born May 25, 1958 in Washington, D.C. to Mrs. Frances Buchanan and the late Daniel Harris Thomas, Jr. He proudly served in the US Army.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Jessica Honkanen and husband Joshua of Lenoir, and Amanda Smith and husband Gregory of Lady Lake, FL; grandchildren, Nathanial Thomas, Christopher Honkanen, Jonathan Honkanen, Charlotte Smith, Emma Smith, and Hallie Smith; great grandchildren, Emery Thomas and Gabriel Thomas; mother, Frances Buchanan of Lenoir; and brothers, Darren Thomas of Lenoir and Derek Thomas and wife Cary of Haymarket, VA.
A memorial service will be held 10:00AM Saturday, February 24, 2024 in the Chapel of Mackie Funeral Service with Military Honors will be presented by the NC National Guard and the Caldwell County Veterans Honor Guard.
