Dakota Ray Smith, 22, of Connelly Springs, passed away on January 27, 2024.
Dakota was born on May 30, 2001, in Stanley County, a child of the late Kimberly Dawn Smith.
In addition to his mother, Dakota is preceded in passing by his great grandparents, Franklin and Ruth Smith and Horace Bolick and Sue Ricks Bolick, and a cousin, Devon Smith.
Those left to cherish his memory include a brother, Matthew Smith; partner, Jessica Abernathy; her parents, Roger and Michelle Abernathy; daughter, Raylynn Smith; grandparents, Lynn Smith and Bill Smith; Aunt and Uncle, Christy and Chad Smith; nephew, Xaylann Tate Smith; and cousin, Magnolia Smith.
The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.
