Clara Belle Anderson, 76 of Granite Falls passed away Thursday, August 17, 2023, at her home in Granite Falls.

Clara was born in Swain County, NC on March 8, 1947.  She was the daughter of the late William Lowe and Gladys Franklin Lowe.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a brother, James Lowe, sisters, Juanita Lowe, Helen Matheson, and Anna Pope.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband, Gene Anderson of the home; sons, Terry Hall of Newton, Randy Hall (Patricia) of Granite Falls, Chris Hall (Whitney) of Lenoir; daughter, Nancy Canter of Asheville; eight grandchildren, Tiffany Hudson, Sara Overton, Kimberly Hall , Lisa Hall,  Christy Hall,  Ashley Neely Hall, Daniel Hall, Casey Hall, and thirteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Darlene Bentley (David), Barbara Price and Marla Greer (Larry) all of Lenoir; several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be Friday, August 25, 2023,at 1:00 PM at Mackie Funeral Service Chapel with a receiving of family and friends one hour before from 12:00 -1:00 PM.  Rev. Brian Auton will officiate.  The burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
