Mrs. Barbara “Bobbie” W. Sanders, 71, of Granite Falls passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024, at UNC Healthcare Caldwell Hospital following a period of declining health.
Bobbie was born January 13, 1953, in Caldwell County to the late Edmon A. Watson and Lona P. Watson. She was a member at Northside Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell M. Sanders; brother, Jerry Clontz; son, Kenny Sanders; and daughter, Carolyn Sanders.
Survivors include her children, Darrell Edmon Sanders, and Rocky Sanders; six grandchildren; three great grandchildren, and sister, Shelia “Joldie” Shook.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 2:00 pm at Northside Baptist Church with the Rev. Lance Main officiating.
