Randy Gragg, 67, of Hudson, passed away Saturday March 9, 2024, at Atrium Health Mercy Charlotte following a period of declining health.

Randy was born on March 4, 1957, in Caldwell County to the late Albert Robert Gragg and Hettie Green Gragg. He was formerly employed by Caldwell Freight and WC Reynolds. He was a member of Sunrise Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Ricky Gragg and Paul Gragg; and one sister, Pat Cox.

Those left to cherish his memory are his children, Adam Joseph Gragg of Hudson and Kimberly Gragg Lail and husband Shawn of Hudson; his grandchildren, Michael Gragg, Dalton Gragg, Taloun Jenkins and Charleigh Lail; two great grandchildren, Lilith Gragg and Caine Gragg; his siblings, Betty Jean Bristol and husband Lee of Lenoir, Bob Gragg and wife Vickie of Lenoir, Roger Gragg and wife Sheila of Hudson, Patricia Crotts and husband Gene, and Denise Phelps and husband Clayton of Lenoir; also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 P.M. Thursday March 14, 2024 in the Chapel of Mackie Funeral Service in Granite Falls, officiating Rev. Edd Warren. Interment will follow at Hibriten Baptist Church Cemetery.

The family will receive friends Thursday from 3:00-4:00 P.M., one hour prior to the service at Mackie Funeral Service in Granite Falls.
