Randy Jones
William Randall “Randy” Jones, 63, of Hudson, died unexpectedly Sunday September 25, 2022 at Caldwell UNC Health Care in Lenoir.
Randy was born on May 3, 1959 in Mecklenburg County to Geraldine Chambers Jones and the late Wiley Carroll Jones. He was a retired long distance truck driver for Tyson Foods.
He is also preceded in death by his step-father, Bob Thompson.
Survivors include his wife of 37 years Sharon Joines Jones of the home; his son, Chris Wyatt and wife Alissa of Kennedale, TX; three grandchildren, Sloan Wyatt, Gunnar Wyatt and Cutler Wyatt all of Kennedale, TX; his mother, Geraldine Chambers Thompson of State Road, NC; his sisters, Carolyn Jones of State Road, Kay Roope of State Road and Sheree Billings and husband Ted of Traphill, NC; also surviving are one nephew and two nieces.
A Memorial Service will be held at 3:00 P.M. Thursday September 29, 2022 in the Chapel of Mackie Funeral Service in Granite Falls. Officiating will be the Rev. Dr. Josh Lail.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service at Mackie Funeral Service in Granite Falls.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105 (stjude.org) or Caldwell County Animal Shelter, 829 Fairview Dr. SW Lenoir, NC 28645.
