Mrs. Linda Gerlosky Whitener, 66, of Connelly Springs passed away Monday March 3, 2025 at Mission Hospital in Asheville following a period of declining health.

Linda was born August 1, 1958 in Fayetteville, NC to the late John Gerlosky and Nancy Ann Peattie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Kitty Sue Gerlosky.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Paul Whitener of the home; children, Tammy Dellinger (Lindsey) of Lincolnton, Patricia Whitener (James Herman) of Taylorsville, and Ashley Whitener (Scott Elkins) of Icard; grandchildren, Marlee Dellinger , Emma Whitener, Nate Whitener, and Samuel Herman.

The family will receive friends Saturday March 8, 2025 from 2:00PM to 3:00PM at Mackie Funeral Service.

A funeral service will immediately follow in the Chapel of Mackie Funeral Service.
