Obituary for Samuel Stafford

Samuel  Stafford
Samuel Stafford was born May 8, 1950 in Harrisville, NY to Sidney E. Stafford Sr. and Emma Roselia Luther Stafford both deceased before him. Besides his wife Kassie Milsap, he is survived by four children from previous marriages, Scott, Brian, Alice and Adelia Stafford; six sisters, Mrs. Emma Jean Burrows, Mrs. Jerry (Rachel) LaBoda both from NC, Mrs. Mary Etson from FL, Mrs. Michael (Faith) Lee, Mrs. Ruth Hart, Mrs. Owen (Naomi) Bauer from NY; one brother, Mr. Timothy Stafford from NY; nine grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Mr. Sidney E. Stafford Jr. from NY and Mr. Thomas Stafford from KY.

Graduating from Alexandria Bay High School in 1969, he enlisted in the Army. He served 9 years as active duty and overseas for 3 ½ years. In April 1977 he was honorably discharged with a rank of SSG E-6 and put into the Army reserves until 1993. As his health became an issue he left the reserves and moved to NC where he passed away at the age of 67.

All services will be private.
